Ndumo is a community in Kwa-Zulu Natal, close to the border of Mozambique. During the year, 2400 children from this community are fed by school feeding programs. But, as the schools close in December so does the feeding. Left hungry, children are forced to scavange for food in temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celcius.
This is why we have fund-raised for the past 11 years- to provide the children of Ndumo with e’Pap by the 1st of December. Through generous donors on our online crowdfunding platform (Back A Buddy) and angel donors and Roses & Rosemary, four tons were raised. Buildit also kindly sponsored the transport of the load down from Pretoria.
